About Me

Hi, I’m Ashley — a HPE teacher, Civil Marriage Celebrant, nature lover, and highly organised planner who runs on coffee, laughter, and fresh air. I’m active, outdoorsy, and happiest when I’m moving (sitting still isn’t my strong suit). I adore dogs and will always pause to say hello. I’m also very detail-focused, which means your ceremony is carefully planned so you can relax and enjoy every moment.

By day, I wrangle teenagers in an outdoor setting — managing chaos, energy, and the occasional meltdown. So don’t worry: if I can handle 20+ teens for archery, I can definitely handle your uncle trying to give a rogue speech, the bridal party attempting to go off-script or a slightly rowdy reception crowd. My “teacher voice” is always ready if needed.

I love telling stories. Real, funny, messy, perfectly-you stories that deserve more than a cookie-cutter script. My ceremonies are relaxed, genuine, and tailored entirely to you — no awkward filler, no forced formality, just your story told your way. I am committed to creating your perfect ceremony — so yes, if Harry Potter theme is the brief, I’ll meet you there with my wand and robe.

How it started

The Why

I became a celebrant in a pretty organic way—my partner’s nephew and his now wife asked me to officiate their wedding. What started as a “why not?” quickly turned into something I genuinely have passion for. I ended up absolutely loving the entire process!

Hearing their love story, shaping it into something meaningful, and sharing it with the people who mattered most to them was incredibly special.

Being able to make people smile, laugh, and even shed a few tears felt really rewarding.

It made me realise that as a celebrant, you play such an important role in one of the biggest moments of someone’s life—and that’s a responsibility I genuinely take seriously. It feels like something I’m meant to do.

Short & Sweet Legals Only

$450.00

Perfect for those who want a no-fuss, legally binding ceremony, the Legals Only package keeps it simple, focused on what truly matters: your love. This package includes personal consultation and legal documentation. A short, intimate ceremony where I’ll use the minimal required legal wording, exchange vows and sign the necessary documents to make your marriage official (approximately 10 minutes). No fuss, no crowd – just the two of you, me and your witnesses. BYO two witnesses that are required to officially witness your marriage.

Tiny & Timeless Elopement/Micro Wedding

$650.00

For couples who want a more intimate celebration, our Micro Weddings or Elopement package offers a beautifully personal ceremony with just a few of your closest loved ones (up to 25 people). This package includes personal consultation, legal documentation, tailored ceremony (approximately 20 minutes) and custom vows and rituals. Ideal for couples who prefer a simpler yet beautiful celebration.

Ever After Ceremony Traditional Ceremony

Our Ever After Ceremony package is perfect for couples who want a fully personalised and unforgettable wedding experience (up to 150 people). This package includes personal consultation, legal documentation, custom ceremony design (approximately 30-40 minutes), personalised vows and rituals, ceremony coordination ideas, music and readings and pre-day rehearsal. With our Ever After Ceremony package, you’ll receive a highly bespoke experience that makes your wedding day as special and unique as your love story. Let me help you create memories that last a lifetime!

A New Beginning Vow Renewal

Our Vow Renewal package is designed for couples celebrating their lasting commitment and love. This package includes personal consultation, tailored ceremony (up to 30 minutes), ceremony ideas and coordination. The Vow Renewal package helps you celebrate your love and commitment in a way that feels as special as the day you first said “I do.” Let me help you create an unforgettable moment as you honour your love and the memories you’ve built together!
