Hi, I’m Ashley - a HPE teacher, Civil Marriage Celebrant, nature lover, and highly organised planner who runs on laughter and fresh air. I’m very active and happiest when I'm moving (sitting still isn’t my strong suit). I adore dogs and will always pause to say hello. I'm very detail-focused, which means your ceremony is carefully planned so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
By day, I wrangle teenagers in an outdoor setting. So don't worry: if I can handle 20+ teens for archery, I can definitely handle your uncle trying to give a rogue speech, the bridal party attempting to go off-script or a slightly rowdy reception crowd.
No chance of your guests misbehaving without me noticing.
I love telling stories. Real, funny, messy, perfectly-you stories that deserve more than a cookie-cutter script. My ceremonies aim to be relaxed and genuine. I am committed to creating your perfect ceremony - so yes, if Harry Potter theme is the brief, I’ll meet you there with my wand and robe.

How it started
I became a celebrant in a pretty organic way—my partner's nephew and his now wife asked me to officiate their wedding. I ended up absolutely loving the entire process!
Hearing their love story, shaping it into something meaningful, and sharing it with the people who mattered most to them was incredibly special.
Being able to make people smile, laugh, and even shed a few tears felt really rewarding.
It made me realise that as a celebrant, you play such an important role in one of the biggest moments of someone’s life—and that’s a responsibility I genuinely take seriously.

Ashley spent a great deal of time with consideration getting to know us, as the bride & groom. She took great pride in detail with her approach to celebrancy for our wedding keeping the sense of character of which we had envisioned. She is very keen and personable which made her the perfect fit for our special day.
Ashley’s approach to her role was extremely professional and well planned, we could tell she spent a lot of time behind the scenes tailoring her role to the vision we had imagined.
